Lawrence Weiss has recently joined the Weimar Enterprises Team as Consultant.
Lawrence has over 30 years experience in a variety of business environments, including the Hotel and Resort Industry, the Restaurant Industry, and Senior Living Communities. He was AGM with the 1810 Country Inn and Winery, where he implemented intensive business-building programs. While with Lasell Village, he orchestrated all Food and Beverage Operations and Special Events for the Independent as well as the Assisted-Living Community. With the Vinny Testa’s Restaurant Group, as HR/Payroll-Benefits Manager, he helped coordinate the successful Grand Opening, and continued overseeing more than 200 employees.
As Purchasing Manager for the Regal Bostonian Hotel, he co-directed their Grand Opening, carefully controlled the Food and Beverage budget, and went on to create and utilize the Materials database. He is also proficient in Logistical and Strategic Planning, Purchasing and Materials Management, and Contract Negotiation and Administration. As an associate of both David Weimar and Mark Leitz, Weiss also uses the DISC model of Human Behavior to create better communications, better understanding, and strong teams. Through the ongoing mentoring efforts of his PNL Enterprises colleagues, he has begun working with Personality Insights to develop new markets and materials.
Lawrence has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Theatre from Northeastern University. He is both ServSafe and HACCP certified.
